We are currently seeking aSenior Database Administrator IIIto support operations inRiverside CAwith an opportunity to travel to locations such asAguadilla Puerto position is contingent on contract award with an expected start dateinSeptember 1st is afull-time CONUS/OCONUSposition requiring an activeDoDSecretclearance.
The base salary range for this role is$111000 to $160000annually depending on geographic location and experience. The final offer will be based on relevant experience skills internal equity and market data.

As aSenior Database Administrator you will play a critical role indesigning building securing and operating software solutions that support mission success and operational excellence across Federal Government organizations. Seeking a Senior Database Administrator III to provide full-time on-site support to the CBP Air and Marine Operations Center. Thisroleis responsible formanagingmaintainingandoptimizingdatabase environments that support C4I systems AMOSS ISR platforms and associated mission applications ensuring data availability integrity security and performance in alignment with operational requirements.
You will:
Administermaintain andoptimizedatabase systems supporting AMOSS ISR and C4I environments
Monitor database performance and implement tuning and optimization strategies
Ensure data integrity availability and security across all database platforms
Perform database installation configuration patching and upgrades
Support backup recovery and disaster recovery planning and execution
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in mission-critical environments
Manage database access controls and ensure compliance with security requirements
Support integration of databases with applications systems and data sources
Collaborate with engineering and development teams to support system enhancements and data requirements
Develop andmaintaindatabase documentation procedures and standards
Support data migration replication and synchronization efforts
Ensure compliance with configuration management and change control processes

Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Information Technology or related field; experience may substitute
10 years of relevant work experience
Technical Expertise:
Experience supporting maintenance and sustainment of C4I AMOSS or ISR systems in operational environments
Experience supporting maintenance and sustainment of C4I AMOSS or ISR systems in operational environments
Experience troubleshooting complex system issues across hardware softwareand networkcomponents
Experience working with mission equipment maintenance tools and COTS systems
Experience using diagnostic and test equipment toidentifyand resolve system faults
Demonstrated understanding of operational requirements and ability to apply technical procedures in mission environments
Administering enterprise-level database systems in operational environments
Performing database performance tuning optimization and troubleshooting
Managing backup recovery and disaster recovery processes
Supporting database security access controls and compliance requirements
Certifications:
Must have a current and activeDoDSecretsecurity clearance.
Proficient with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies
Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
Project management tools such as MS Project or equivalent
Collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint
Travel & Passport
Travel both CONUS and OCONUSby motor vehicle and/or air travelmay berequired; some overnight stays possible.
OCONUS locations include:
AguadillaandPuerto Rico
Must have an activepassportto supportOCONUS travel and/or living requirements.
Work Environment
Compliance with vaccination and medical requirements for TDY/OCONUS roles as perVaccine Recommendations by AOR .
This position requiresworking in a stressful environment dealing with conflict working under pressure and with strict deadlinesfocusand attention to detail
Office setting:
Primarily an office-based role inRiverside CA
Standard desk/computer work with flexibility for walking and movement on site.
Must be able to work in an office environment sitting at a desk looking at a computerformost ofthe workday.
Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting walking standing etc.
May berequiredto travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
