Business Controller

Key About Your Role

As a Business Controller atKeylane you act as a strategic financial partner for the businessor support unit. You advise management and business leaders on financial matters and support them in realizing theirobjectivesin a sustainable and data-driven way.

You translate organizational goals into clear financialKPIsandmonitorperformance against budgets and forecasts. You provide insights into financial resultsidentifytrends and developments and translate these into actionable advice. By combining financialexpertisewith business understanding you helpoptimizeresource allocation and ensure sound financial decision-making.

Youare responsible forpreparing andanalyzingperiodic financial reportsforecastsand business cases. You proactively signal risks and opportunities and support the business in making well-balanced doing so you act as the link between the business and the financial controllers/financial specialists ensuring alignment between operational performance and financial governance.

You challenge assumptions stimulate fact-baseddecision-makingand contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting.

Key About Your Team

You will be part of the Finance team working closely with fellow controllers and financial specialists. At the same time you are deeply embedded in the business collaborating with managers and team leads across departments such as Product Development Operations and Commercial.

In this role youoperateat the intersection of strategyoperationsand finance. You are a trusted sparring partner for management and contribute to both short-term performance steering and long-term strategic planning.

• You have a completed Bachelors orMasters degree in Finance Economics BusinessAdministrationor a related field;

• You have several years of experience in a Business Controller or similar financial role;

• You have experience with budgeting forecasting financialanalysisand KPI reporting;

• Youare able totranslate complex financial data into clear insights and recommendations for non-financial stakeholders;

• You are proactiveanalyticaland comfortable challenging management in a constructive way;

• You havestrong communicationskills andare able tobuild relationships across different departments;

• Experience in a SaaS IT or project-driven environment is a plus;

• You are comfortable working with financial systems and Excel; experiencewith BI tooling is an advantage;
• English is mandatory speaking Dutch is a pré.

A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and reference check are part of the application process.

• Starting with a monthly gross salary between 3400 and 5800 based on 40 hours per week depending on your experience and seniority;

• 8% holiday allowance of your total gross salary;

• A profit share on average one month salary extra annually;

• A pension scheme with theoptionto save extra;

• Travel reimbursement: Receive a mileage allowance of 0.23 per km or an NS

• Business Card which can also be used for personal travel;

• 24 holiday days (with theoptionto buy extra) and 7 inclusion days which can be exchanged with fixed Dutch national holidays allowing you to take them when you like;

• Flexibility part of a hybrid working team you will work partly from home and partly from the you work in the office a free lunch is waiting for you every day. If you work from home you will receive a working from home allowance (4 net per day) and internet allowance (35 net per month);

• A one-year contract that subject to satisfactory performance will be converted into a permanent contract;
