Job Title: Sr. Project Manager

Locations: Kansas City MO Boston MA New York NY Connecticut - Hybrid (Remote flexibility for other states in the US as well)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver complex technology projects within SS&C GIDS Inc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning executing and closing projects ensuring they are completed on time within budget and to the required quality standards.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Define project scope goals and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop full-scale project plans including detailed tasks timelines resource allocation and budgets.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams ensuring clear communication effective collaboration and accountability.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues developing mitigation strategies and escalating as necessary.
• Monitor project progress performance and budget providing regular status reports to stakeholders.
• Manage changes to the project scope schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Ensure adherence to SS&C GIDS project management methodologies standards and best practices.
• Facilitate effective communication channels between project team members stakeholders and external vendors.
• Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
• Mentor and coach less experienced project team members.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in project management preferably within the financial services or software industry.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects from initiation to closure.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall) and tools.
• Excellent leadership communication interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

What Sets You Apart (Preferred Qualifications)

• PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred.
• Experience with SS&C GIDS products or services is a plus.
