What Youll Do
As an Occupational Therapist at Grand River Hospital District youll play a key role in helping patients regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities. Youll evaluate patient needs develop individualized treatment plans and deliver evidence-based care across a variety of settings. Working closely with an interdisciplinary team youll support patients through recovery while promoting safety function and quality of life.
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Implement therapy programs to restore maintain or improve daily living skills
- Teach adaptive techniques and proper use of assistive equipment
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Administer therapeutic interventions to restore function and prevent disability
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate timely documentation in compliance with standards and policies
- Communicate clearly with patients families and team members
- Support a safe organized and patient-centered care environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Who Were Looking For
- Bachelors Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from a program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association or eligibility to sit for the board examination
- Current Occupational Therapist license in the State of Colorado
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire and maintained throughout employment
- Practical experience across a range of occupational therapy services preferred
- Experience in upper extremity orthopedic rehabilitation and acute care settings strongly preferred
- Proficiency within six (6) months of hire in clinical and administrative systems includingMeditech Cedaron PACS Exercise Pro Allscripts EHR Galactica QHN Microsoft Office Kronos and HealthStream

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors including a candidates qualifications skills competencies and experience.
