Multiple day shifts available:

• 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
• 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
• 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
• 10:00 AM 6:00 PM
• 11:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Rotating weekends required

Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology. The role involves supporting physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions while ensuring patient comfort safety and accurate imaging results.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound examinations including abdominal pelvic vascular and small parts studies
• Prepare patients and clearly explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain clear and diagnostic-quality images
• Review and document imaging results and assist physicians with preliminary observations
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of ultrasound equipment; report any issues
• Follow infection control safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams for coordinated patient care

Required Qualifications

Education:

• Associates Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Strong knowledge of sonography principles and clinical practices
• Hands-on experience in general ultrasound procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment

Certifications Required

• ARDMS Certification (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association)

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications such as RDMS RVT or other specialty credentials
• Experience across multiple ultrasound specialties (e.g. vascular OB/GYN)
