Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology. The role involves supporting physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions while ensuring patient comfort safety and accurate imaging results.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general ultrasound examinations including abdominal pelvic vascular and small parts studies
Prepare patients and clearly explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain clear and diagnostic-quality images
Review and document imaging results and assist physicians with preliminary observations
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of ultrasound equipment; report any issues
Follow infection control safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards
Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams for coordinated patient care
Required Qualifications
Education:
Associates Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
Strong knowledge of sonography principles and clinical practices
Hands-on experience in general ultrasound procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Certifications Required
ARDMS Certification (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
Preferred Qualifications
Additional certifications such as RDMS RVT or other specialty credentials
Experience across multiple ultrasound specialties (e.g. vascular OB/GYN)
