Job Summary
Department Overview
This position is under the supervision of the VP of Clinical Operations at the Cascade Life Alliance (CLA). The duties of this position are in support of the mission and goals of CLA including comprehensive supervision and leadership of the Education Program to include oversight of the design implementation standardization and evaluation of education initiatives across all CLA departments. Additionally the Education Program Manager may take administrative call as needed to provide 24-hour coverage coordinating all aspects of the donation process across the Donation Service Area (DSA).
The Education Program Manager works collaboratively with other departments to identify and advance initiatives in support of overall organizational strategic goals and values including staff training and professional development quality improvement and performance management.
Function/Duties of Position
- Responsible for the management of a comprehensive Education Program including:
- Develops implements and maintains the education strategy curriculumand standard content for orientation of new staff as well as continuing education
- Coordinates internal education initiatives to ensure alignment and consistency across departments
- Maintains and governs a centralized repository of educational resources toolkits and documentation standards
- Establishes measurable education outcomes ensures training and competency adherence reviews performance trends and leads systematic improvement efforts based on findings.
- Provides oversight guidance and coaching to Hybrid Educators
- Collaborates with Quality and Compliance teams to ensure education supports regulatory readiness and performance improvement initiatives
- Assesses success of group and individual practice provides effective feedback and develops processes to help drive performance improvement for department.
- Partners with leadership from all CLA departments to ensure effective interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize donation outcomes throughout the DSA. Collaborates with Medical Directors and physician consults as needed and assists staff in working through operational and administrative challenges.
Performs 24-hour on call functions as needed based on department staffing needs.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science Degree with healthcare-related focus or equivalent experience.
- 3 years recent Organ Procurement Organization experience.
- Must have a valid drivers license and access to a vehicle.

- Must be able to work in an adaptive fashion with a wide range of professional and nonprofessional constituents including but not limited to governmental officials students healthcare staff and the public.
Preferred Qualifications
- American Board for Transplant Certification CPTC credential.
- Supervisory management or equivalent experience as determined by department
Additional Details
Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and take administrative call as needed for 24 hour periods. May travel by ground transportation or charter and commercial aircraft in support of donation activities or other professional events.
Clinical call for 24 hour periods and be able to function for extended hours in an intense high-paced environment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Have a valid drivers license and access to a vehicle.
