Position Summary
J.M. Huber Corporation an innovative manufacturing company seeks a personable and highly motivated intern to support the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) team with strategic projects related to Energy Isolation and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program improvements. As part of the summer internship program this intern will have the chance to work with experienced EHS professionals while supporting critical Life-Saving Rule (LSR) initiatives. Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Document and photograph all equipment requiring Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures using Brady 360
- Review update and develop LOTO procedures to ensure accuracy standardization and Energy Isolation LifeSaving Rule (LSR) compliance
- Identify and close gaps in the LOTO program by addressing missing or outdated procedures
- Improve the accessibility organization and usability of LOTO procedures within Brady 360 for employee reference
- Collaborate with EHS Maintenance Operations and Engineering teams across the site
Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Zoom
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in detail-oriented dynamic and changing environment

Any offered salary is determined based on relevant factors such as an applicants skills performance job responsibilities prior relevant experience certain degrees and certifications and market considerations.

In addition to base compensation individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and profit-sharing payout.
