Press Operator Injection

Specific Duties

The press operator - injection performs these activities:

1. Completes daily time card.

2. Follows and signs work orders.

3. If required completes work order changes.

4. Follows engineering instructions to complete process studies pilot productions and first articles.

5. Follows safety rules.

The press operator - injection may perform any of these operations:

1. Sets up an injection molding press.

2. Molds parts using an injection molding press.

3. Changes molding conditions if required.

4. Returns unused compounded material to mixing department.

Experience

Six months as a press operator - O-Rings or press operator - custom.

Must have a working knowledge of the molding characteristics of Parcos compounds.

Minimum education: 12th grade or equivalent. Must read write and speak English.

Physical Requirements

Stands on concrete floor up to 10 hours. Loads molds into press weighing up to 200 pounds using handling equipment.
