Position Overview
Provide regional electrical and automation engineering leadership
Lead Ignition (SCADA) development and deployment across plant sites
Support plant electrical systems equipment installations and troubleshooting
Work hands-on with maintenance and operations teams during startups and upgrades
Travel to regional facilities in VA SC and GA as needed

Key Responsibilities
Lead corporate-wide Ignition installations and system upgrades
Develop and configure SCADA screens scripting and integrations
Support PLCs HMIs VFDs and plant process control systems
Assist with equipment installations and automation integration
Oversee plant-level electrical engineering projects
Develop and support preventative maintenance programs
Promote and maintain strong safety standards across all sites
Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues

Qualifications
Associate or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field
5 years of industrial electrical or automation engineering experience
Ignition by Inductive Automation experience or certification required
Allen-Bradley / Rockwell PLC programming experience required
Experience with SQL ODATA and Python scripting preferred
AutoCAD Electrical experience for control system design
Working knowledge of electrical pneumatic hydraulic and mechanical systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel to regional plant locations

Preferred Experience
Automation or robotics systems exposure
Experience supporting heavy industrial or manufacturing operations
Preventative electrical maintenance program development
