Fulfillment Lead / Warehouse Operator

Reports to: CEO GoGun LLC

Location: Orlando / Winter Park FL

Compensation: $27-$33 per hour depending on experience and capabilities

Employment Type: Full-time hourly

Position Summary

GoGun is seeking a hands-on Fulfillment Lead / Warehouse Operator to run day-to-day warehouse operations for our growing e-commerce business. This is a high-ownership role for someone who is organized dependable resourceful and able to work independently without close supervision.

The right person will be responsible for shipping receiving returns warehouse organization packing-station setup inventory putaway supply ordering and general operational readiness in a small but growing warehouse environment. This person will start out working alone in approximately 4000 square feet and will be expected to keep the warehouse clean functional and ready to support efficient daily fulfillment.

This is an ideal role for someone who likes taking ownership building order out of chaos solving practical problems and keeping physical operations running smoothly. Over time the role may expand into supervising additional warehouse staff as the company grows.

A college degree is not required. If you have a degree certification military background trade training warehouse experience or other experience that adds value to this role please include it in your application.

Core Responsibilities

Fulfillment and Shipping (45%)

• Pick pack label and ship customer orders accurately and on time.
• Prepare outbound parcels cartons and occasional pallet shipments.
• Ensure orders are packed securely efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain packing workflows that reduce errors damage and delays.
• Coordinate daily shipments with carriers and shipping systems.

Receiving and Inventory (15%)

• Receive inbound inventory pallets parts packaging and supplies.
• Count inspect sort and put inventory away accurately.
• Organize products into bins shelves and storage locations in a logical manner.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and help prevent stockouts shrinkage and fulfillment mistakes.
• Assist with cycle counts spot checks and general inventory control.

Returns and Customer Support (20%)

• Process returned items promptly and accurately.
• Inspect returned merchandise and determine whether it should be restocked repaired flagged or discarded.
• Document return reasons and help identify recurring product or fulfillment issues.
• Provide basic customer support related to orders returns and products once trained.
• Communicate clearly and professionally when helping resolve customer issues.

Warehouse Organization and Readiness (10%)

• Set up and maintain packing stations work areas shelving bins and operational layouts.
• Keep the warehouse clean orderly safe and ready for efficient work each day.
• Maintain label printers shipping supplies labels boxes tape and related consumables.
• Order shipping supplies and warehouse consumables as needed.
• Help improve warehouse layout and workflows over time.

Equipment Process and Operations Support (10%)

• Select and purchase practical operational tools such as label printers labels and related shipping equipment.
• Help establish standard operating procedures for shipping receiving putaway and returns.
• Identify bottlenecks inefficiencies and recurring problems then help solve them.
• Support the transition into GoGuns own warehouse and help create a more scalable operation.

Qualifications

Required

• Experience in warehouse shipping fulfillment receiving or inventory operations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities without close supervision.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort using computers for shipping email spreadsheets and basic operational tasks.
• Ability to lift and move boxes and warehouse materials as needed.
• Ability to keep a warehouse environment clean orderly and functional.
• Reliable responsible and comfortable taking ownership of outcomes.

Preferred

• Experience as a warehouse lead shipping lead fulfillment lead or similar role.
• Experience working in e-commerce operations.
• Experience with returns processing and inventory accuracy.
• Familiarity with Shopify ShipStation spreadsheets and basic inventory systems.
• Experience receiving freight or palletized shipments.
• Experience setting up warehouse layouts bin systems workstations or SOPs.
• Experience in small-business environments where one person wears many hats.
• Familiarity with consumer products tactical products outdoor gear archery gear airguns or related categories.

• Shipping accuracy and on-time fulfillment.
• Accuracy and reliability in receiving and inventory putaway.
• Quality and speed of returns processing.
• General warehouse organization cleanliness and readiness.
• Ability to prevent stockouts of shipping supplies and operational materials.
• Initiative dependability and problem-solving ability.
• Overall ability to run daily warehouse operations with minimal hand-holding.

Physical / Work Requirements

• Ability to lift carry move and organize boxes products and supplies.
• Ability to stand walk bend reach and work in a warehouse environment for extended periods.
• Ability to safely handle parcels palletized freight shelving and warehouse equipment as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced physical environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
