Job Summary
Position: CNC Grinder
Location: Onsite (Davison MI)
Job Type: Full-Time Direct Hire
Pay: $25 $35 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday Thursday 6:00 AM 4:30 PM (4-day 10-hour shifts)
Overtime: Consistent Friday OT available
About the Role
Elevate Recruitment & Staffing has partnered with a growing precision tooling manufacturer.
Responsibilities
- Program set up and operate the ANCA TX7 CNC Grinder for carbide chamber reamer production
- Produce parts to blueprint specifications and meet daily production targets
- Operate additional manual manufacturing machines as needed
- Perform in-process inspection and basic gaging/metrology
- Maintain machines and tooling as needed
- Work independently with minimal supervision
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of hands-on experience on a leading CNC tool & cutter grinder ANCA strongly preferred Walter or Rollomatic also considered
- Proficient in ANCA programming software (ToolRoom / iGrind) or equivalent on Walter or Rollomatic
- Ability to both program and run production
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Basic math and trigonometry
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct ANCA experience
- Background or working knowledge of the firearms industry
- Experience producing drill bits reamers inserts or cutting tools
- Manufacturing production and gaging/metrology background
