Responsibilities
Peraton is hiring a Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup MD. As a Systems Engineer on our team you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community.
This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As a Systems Engineer on our team you will perform systems engineering functions including defining and documenting concept of operations operational/system requirements and use cases to support system development; performing high-level system design; specifying system/component performance and interface requirements; and developing installation integration and acceptance testplans.
Continuously assess existing organizational processes and work products to ensure they best facilitate strategic and tactical efforts. Coordinate with customers project teams and related organizations to ensure solutions satisfy the requirements. Define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision for the solutions developed by the product teams. #AJCM
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field (e.g.: computer science mathematics or physics) plus 10 years of relevant experience; OR
- Masters degree in Engineering or relevant technical field (e.g.: computer science mathematics or physics) plus 8 year of relevant experience; OR
- Doctoral Degree in Engineering or relevant technical field (e.g.: computer science mathematics or physics) plus 6 year of relevant experience
- Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Target Salary Range
$135000 - $216000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
