We are seeking an experiencedQuality Assurance Team Lead to support the NISSC III program. In this role you will work with mission-critical systems essential to national defense and national security priorities. This is a full-time on-site position ideal for a detailoriented QA professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about quality excellence compliance and continuous improvement.

Primary Responsibilities:
Apply proven knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001 aerospace quality management standards configuration management and corrective action systems
Develop complete and submit First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in accordance with AS9102
Review drawings certificates characteristic results specifications and documentation for all FAIs to ensure accuracy and completeness
Ensure compliance with customer specifications purchase orders Statements of Work (SOWs) CDRLs and other contractual requirements
Validate alignment between customer technical data packages and FAIR packages
Prepare implement and maintain a Quality Assurance Program Plan outlining processes documentation and inspection systems to ensure compliance with contract requirements
Collaborate with internal teams suppliers and customer representatives to resolve FAIR discrepancies and non-conformance issues
Provide technical support and guidance on FAIR processes to internal teams
Coordinate with customers to ensure timely and accurate FAIR submissions
Review and interpret engineering drawings specifications and manufacturing data to assess FAIR completeness and suitability
Support process improvement initiatives and implement best practices for FAIR procedures
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards regulations and aerospace/defense manufacturing best practices
Provide leadership guidance and mentoring to junior QA personnel and support continuous improvement across the team
Required Qualifications:
BachelorsDegree ina related field with 8 years of relevant experience; Additional experience training and/or certifications may substitute degree requirement.
US Citizen; Currently possessing an Active DoD Secret clearance or obtain/maintain upon hire.
Proven knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001 aerospace quality management standards configuration management and corrective action systems
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies in documentation specifications and manufacturing processes
In-depth knowledge of customer specifications purchase orders SOWs CDRLs and related requirements
Demonstrated experience interpreting industry specifications (ASME ASTM SAE etc.)
Strong ability to interpret complex engineering drawings technical data and specifications
Ability to work collaboratively with customers suppliers and internal teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Office SharePoint and related tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in related field with 6 years of experience
Active DoDSecretclearance
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate and advocate quality-related concepts
Demonstrated knowledge with AS9102 AS9100 and other aerospace/defense quality standards
Experience with Agile principles
Understanding of ITIL principles (ITIL Foundation or equivalent)
Formal auditor training
Experience with NISSC or other Air Force programs

Pay Range:
Pay Range $92300.00 - $166850.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
