Founded in 1891 by a group of visionary volunteers The Trustees of Reservations (The Trustees) is the nations premier conservation and preservation organization. The Trustees preserves for public use and enjoyment properties of exceptional scenic historic and ecological value in properties are open to all and we thrive by involving as many people as possible in all that we do. We aim to protect special places for future generations to enjoy in perpetuity and have helped protect more than 50000 acres including 27000 acres on more than 120 reservations that are open to the public. What Youll Do:

Your Impact:

As the Seasonal Cookyoullconnect farm guests to the land by working alongside the AppletonCulinary Team. Utilizing our own organic produce and regionally grown grain you willassistwith seasonalproduction of menu items for our on-site Farm Store ranging from but not limited tovegetableprep fillings soups bagels cookies and by hand bread dough/bagelshapingis possible as well!

Specifically youll:

• Follow recipes to standard

• Cookbakeand safely package prepared foods

• Assistwith food and bakery preparation as needed

• Assistwith large scale event day preparation and operations

• Multitask and work quickly under pressure

• Uphold Standard Operating Procedures for the commercial kitchen

• Maintainhigh standardsof sanitation foodsafetyand a clean and safe work environment

• Support the Culinary Team as needed

This is a limited-term non-exempt position (15hours/week) reporting directly toCulinaryProgram and Food Service Manager.

What Youll Need:

Skills and Experience:

• Background in food preparation and/or baking

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team

• Enthusiasm for tackling a prep list

• Possessa strong appreciation for working with local farms and feeding the community

• Ability to manage multiple projects at once

Preferred:

• ServSafeCertificate

Eligibility Criteria:

• Current authorization to work in the United States a candidate must have such authorization by his or her first day of employment.

• A satisfactory criminal background (CORI) check.
