DevOps engineer (senior) SAP Claims management

• Support Product Owners and developers by defining technical solutions for complex functional issues

• Safeguard and improve development standards and guide junior andmediordevelopers to deliver according to those standards

• Analyseand resolve complex incidents.

Who you are

You have proven experience as an IT Developer and a strongtrack recordin SAP Claims to working in an agile environment and value communication collaboration and proactiveness.

• HBO/WO working and thinking level

• Strong command of the English language Dutch is a plus

• At least 5 years ofdemonstrableexperience withcustomizing andsoftware development in the SAP Claims Management module

• Basic ITIL/ITSM knowledge

• Basic knowledge of Agile working

• Curiosity anda driveto work smarter and continuously improve (e.g. using AI)

• Living in the Netherlands and willing to work at the Rotterdam office one or more days a week

Nice to have:

• Object-oriented thinking.

• Demonstrable senior experience developing in ABAP and OO-driven ABAP

• Knowledge of SAP Insurance Suite including basic knowledge of SAP FS-CM (Claims) and the interaction between FS-PM and

• Experience in software development in the SAP Policy Management module

• Experience with unit test frameworks and creating complex (automated) unit tests

• Knowledge of DC pension schemes and the Dutch pension system

• Experience working in guilds/circles and having made an active contribution

• Experience working with Azure DevOps and ServiceNow

Who you will work with

Within our Administration Product Platform department we work in various (international) DevOps scrum teams. These teams focus on our advisor employer and employee processes. During PI planning each teamdeterminestheir priorities for the upcoming quarter based on stakeholder direction.

We actively promote our workweek is structured according to the 70/20/10 principle: most of your time is spent on team work (Learning on the job) one day a week is for improving how we work together (Getting better together) and half a day is reserved for your own development (Self study).
