Reporting to the Nurse in Charge you will be expected to provide the highest standard of service to our patients and Radiologists whilstbeing responsible forproviding care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures.

Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• Provide a high standard of care and service to our patients technicalstaffandRadiologists

• Ensure Workplace Health and Safety practices are always understood andobservedin theworkplace

• Admissionmonitoringand recovery of patients undergoing a variety of interventional procedures such as biopsys vascular access devices pain managementstentsand drainages These are performed across multiple modalities such as Ultrasound CTMRIand Nuclear Medicine

• PICC line insertion (training will be provided)

• Sound knowledge and application for post procedure carerecoveryand discharge.

ABOUTYOU

• Registered Nurse with current APHRA Registration

• IV Cannulation experiencepreferred

• Advanced Life Support preferred but notessential

• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations and effective problem-solvingskills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills proven ability to liaise with a diverse range of medicalprofessionals

• Proven ability to contribute to and work as part of a dynamic team in addition tooperatingindependently

• Excellent personal presentation

• Previoussurgical or radiology experience would bebeneficial
