OVERVIEW
Position	Group Project Manager (Refrigeration Projects)	Department	Project Management
Reports to	Retail Operations Manager	Location	Saudi Arabia
About Company & Role Purpose	The Group Project Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple large-scale refrigeration projects including cold storage warehouses food processing facilities and pharmaceutical storage. This role requires high-level project management expertise deep technical knowledge of refrigeration systems and leadership in executing projects while ensuring compliance financial efficiency and strategic alignment with company goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

General

Develop and implement strategic project execution plans for multiple refrigeration projects.
Oversee project timelines resource allocation budgeting and risk assessments across different sites.
Ensure adherence to best practices in refrigeration project execution and standardize project management methodologies.
Oversee the design and installation of ammonia and Freon-based refrigeration plants ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
Approve and optimize designs for large-scale refrigeration applications.
Develop power distribution strategies for refrigeration plants and supervise electrical system design.
Implement safety protocols for ammonia refrigeration plants and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Manage multi-million project budgets ensuring cost control without compromising quality.
Supervise and mentor Project Managers Engineers and Site Teams across multiple locations.
Develop technical training programs for refrigeration professionals.

BACKGROUND QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications	Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or Refrigeration Engineering. 15 years of experience in industrial refrigeration and MEP project management. Proven experience in overseeing multiple large-scale refrigeration systems.
Skills	In-depth knowledge of refrigeration plant design and optimization. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Primavera Microsoft Project). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on financial and cost control.
