Job Summary
Job Title: Electrical Inspector
Job Summary:
We are hiring a detail-oriented and technically sound Electrical Inspector to ensure compliance and quality assurance across all electrical works at industrial and construction project sites. The ideal candidate must have 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical inspection testing procedures and preparation of ITPs and PQPs. Candidates with previous Gulf or Saudi experience will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed inspections of electrical installations to ensure compliance with design specifications codes and client requirements.
Review and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) Project Quality Plans (PQP) and method statements.
Supervise and monitor all testing activities such as insulation resistance continuity earth resistance and high-voltage testing.
Maintain inspection records and generate daily and weekly progress reports.
Verify installations of panels cable trays conduits grounding systems lighting and fire alarm systems.
Ensure corrective and preventive actions are executed for non-conformities.
Coordinate with QA/QC teams construction teams and third-party inspection agencies.
Participate in internal audits and ensure documentation aligns with QA/QC procedures.
Support commissioning activities and assist in final project handover procedures.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical inspection preferably in industrial plant environments.
Gulf or Saudi Arabia experience is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of IEC NEC and relevant Saudi/International electrical codes.
Proficient in preparing and reviewing ITP PQP inspection checklists and quality documentation.
Hands-on experience in electrical testing procedures and use of testing instruments.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings SLDs and schematic diagrams.
Familiarity with QA/QC practices and project documentation standards.
Excellent attention to detail communication and reporting skills.
