Job Title: Clinic Team Lead

Job Summary: | The Clinic Team Lead is responsible for managing various aspects of patient treatment and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) at the clinic as well as perform direct service provision such as individual and group therapy treatment planning and abstinence monitoring as necessary. This position will serve as the Clinic Managers designee when they are absent or unavailable. The Clinic Team Lead will coordinate and participate in meetings with clinic team members and ARTS internal staff as well as representatives from community agencies hospitals/medical facilities drug courts human service departments criminal justice programs and/or other referral sources. This position will require constantly analyzing developments and situations both inside and outside of the clinic to make strategic recommendations to the Clinic Manager AOP Director and/or the AOP Program Directors. The Clinic Team Leadwill provide professional clinical and/or administrative support for the clinic as needed or as directed by the Clinic Manager. This position will also support the clinics efforts around quality assurance and standards compliance for its operations including but not limited to licensures certifications patient treatment services and other administrative requirements. This position will help plan and implement various professional development and training activities for clinic staff and assist in tracking and reporting staff compliance and completion of required trainings in all facets of work. Key Responsibilities: Assists in managing the day-to-day operations of the clinic to ensure the clinics smooth daily operations. Acts as the designee to Clinic Manager in the absence of the Clinic Manager for clinical and/or administrative matters and monitors caseload progress. Conducts quality assurance and continuous quality improvement practices and performs case audits quarterly and as assigned by Clinic Manager. Provide supervision and case staffing as required including supervision of staff involved in special programming such Drug Court and DUI services. Attends clinic team meetings and case conferences and proactively shares input regarding clinics various patient treatment and relevant policies. Develops and implements the intake schedule and acts as an internal liaison for intake coordination for Parkside Clinic. Co-supervise ARTS employees who provide services to clients involved with the Department of Corrections such as problem-solving court or probation.

Work Location: | Onsite this role will be assigned to a home clinic within Denver Aurora or Arvada Colorado. |

Qualifications: | Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in psychology social work counseling human services or another closely related field from an accredited university or institution of higher education. Three (3) years of professional level experience in Mental Health Behavioral Health case management research of Mental Health Behavioral Health or closely related field. Possess a valid registration in good standing with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) as a Certified Addictions Specialist (CAS) Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPC-C) Social Worker Candidate (SW-C) Licensed Addiction Counselor Candidate (LAC-C) or Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (MFT-C).
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in psychology social work counseling human services or another closely related field from an accredited institution. Possess a valid license in good standing with Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Social Worker (LSW) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Four (4) or more years of professional experience in the field of behavioral health such as mental health or substance use disorder treatment. One (1) or more years of experience at a supervisory level staff/team lead and/or supervising other staff. Experience providing or supervising substance use disorder services for special populations such as gender responsive criminal justice communicable diseases including HIV medically compromised and/or dual diagnosis patients. Experience working with Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT). Experience with evidence-based practices and interventions. Experience as a project director or a project lead. Experience working on a multi-disciplinary team.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Outstanding oral communications and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Strong leadership skills. Excellent writing and editing skills. Ability to use independent judgment. Ability to engage clients that have substance use issues or have criminal justice involvement. Ability to comply with established rules policies and procedures and meet deadlines. Ability to be nonjudgmental and respectful of others beliefs values and culture. Ability to exercise discretion (e.g. patient confidentiality). Comfortable working in a high-volume fast-paced clinic and office environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint) and ability to learn additional software programs swiftly and accurately. Experience using an Electronic Health Record system.
