Baler (Warehouse)

GENERAL SUMMARY: The Baler is responsible for ensuring our production operations are kept clean and safe and that all waste is collected and baled for disposal/recycling. Safety is vital to this position both from a standpoint of keeping our production floor clear of hazards and using baling machines in a safe and appropriate manner. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Walks production floor and collects paper waste / removes all materials that may pose a hazard to other baling machines to bales all waste paper and stage bales for disposal / areas around machines and walkways are kept clear of obstructions and are and organize the work area around the baling machines and ensure waste carts are stored safely at all times. Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of safe manufacturing to be thorough and to work quickly and accurately. Ability to work to communicate effectively with team members. Education Experience and Certification: High school diploma or GED manufacturing or distribution experience Requirements:Involves working in a manufacturing setting with machinery loud noise and forklift traffic. Must exercise caution and wear appropriate PPE (safety toe shoes eye protection ear protection).Schedule: (Wednesday Thursday Friday and every other Saturday) (7:00am-7:15pm).#Sparks625
