Job Summary

Greenwich Education Group is an education organization founded in 2004 that operates three NEASC-accredited co-ed independent day schools Links Academy The Pinnacle School and The Spire School. Together our schools provide individualized student-centered learning environments that support executive functioning academic growth and social-emotional development for students with diverse learning needs.

As a Special Education Teacher at Greenwich Education Group you will design and deliver individualized instruction that helps every student make meaningful progress. Youll create a structured engaging classroom that supports both learning and social-emotional growth.

What Youll Need

  • Bachelors degree and valid Connecticut Special Education teaching certification

  • Minimum three months of experience working with students with disabilities

  • Knowledge of child development differentiated instruction and behavior management

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to lead and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

What Youll Do

  • Develop and implement IEPs and lesson plans that meet each students needs

  • Deliver engaging instruction using varied teaching methods

  • Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning environment

  • Track progress and prepare required documentation and reports

  • Lead and support classroom staff to ensure consistent implementation of student plans
