C Developer (Low Latency Trading Systems)

Singapore

EC1 Partners is working with a leading global electronic trading firm looking to hire a C Developer into their Singapore team focused on building and optimising high-performance trading systems.

This role sits close to the trading engine working on order management internal messaging and connectivity to global markets.

What youll be doing:

Building and enhancing a high-performance trading platform
Developing order management and internal messaging components
Working on connectivity to external trading venues
Optimising systems for low latency and high throughput
Analysing and improving performance across distributed systems

What were looking for:

Strong C development experience
Exposure to Java
Experience working in Linux environments
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/UDP data flow)
Interest or experience in low latency or high transaction systems
Strong problem solving and communication skills
Mandarin language skills required (working with China-facing stakeholders)

Candidates with 13 years experience are ideal though strong graduates will also be considered. Fast-paced environment strong engineering culture and the chance to work directly on systems that sit close to live trading.
