As an Application Engineer you act as the technical customer interface at product level providing advanced support and contributing to the development of electronic circuits boards and related documentation. You create go-to-market materials deliver product training and support system verification for future automotive LED close collaboration with international hardware and software teams you also contribute your technical expertise to product architecture and innovation.
Acting as the technical customer interface at product level
Providing second- or third-level technical support
Developing electronic circuits and boards with corresponding documentation
Responsibility for technical go-to-market materials such as application notes evaluation boards datasheets
Carrying out technical product training for internal and external partners
Supporting system verification of future LED applications in the automotive sector
Supporting product architects with technical know-how
Collaborating with our international application team - hardware and software
Completed Masters degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualifications
Several years of professional experience as an application engineer for system validation in the automotive environment
Experience in PCB layout development system-level testing as well as experience with programming and scripting languages
Experience in using and understanding of standard laboratory equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes multimeters signal generators etc.)
Willingness to innovate
Reliability and ability to work in a team
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
