About the Team:

The Financial Control Team runs all core accounting and reporting processes working closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis and Grants Reporting are responsible for operational accounting services accounting statutory reporting and audits taxes financial policies procedures and controls.

About this role:

The primary purpose of the Accounting Associate role is to ensure CDPs daily financial transactions are processed and recorded accurately and efficiently.

What you will do:
Perform finance operations transactions (e.g. AP AR debt collection cash allocationexpenses).

Operational reporting & communication e.g. aged debt and supplier accounts.

Banking activities e.g. setting up payments for approval.

Maintain and implement operational finance systems processes and record keeping.

Maintain strong controls to prevent/detect fraud or misstatement.

Actively contribute to an effective and engaged team clear on its purpose and contribution by:

Ensuring you know what is expected of you through regular 1:1s having clear objectives in place and participating in open and honest performance and development conversations.

Ensuring a respectful and inclusive workplace where team members communicate openly share knowledge so it can be used and respect difference.

Internal stakeholders include: Accounting and Reporting team and wider finance team.

Salary & Benefits:

The salary banding for this role is: CN 6400-8000/month (pro rata 3 days per week).This is a 6 month part time contract following a hybrid model with two days in the office and one day remote.
