Compensation range: US$3500 - US$4000/month

About our client
Our client is a growing digital agency specialising in web development SEO and content marketing. They support clients across industries with high-quality websites and content strategies.

The Senior Full-Stack Developer role is a key part of the companys expansion focused on owning and delivering complex custom web applications and headless solutions. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Development Project Managers and cross-functional teams to design build and maintain high-quality scalable systems.

About the role
As the Senior Full-Stack Developer you will use leading edge frameworks such as React and/or Angular to build custom apps which are elegant and easy to use. You will work on an array of projects ranging from small apps for start-ups to enterprise-level apps for national brands. You take pride in your ability to roll out each project quickly and to a high degree of quality regardless of the project size and are involved in all phases of the project from planning through to delivery.

You understand that writing commenting and testing the code is vital for a successful project deployment. If you have an excellent eye for detail are a strong problem solver love to learn and enjoy new challenges then this position is for you!

Responsibilities:

Development & Delivery

• Build and maintain custom web applications and headless websites.

• Own the full development lifecycle: Architecture & planning Development Testing & QA Deployment and Ongoing support.

• Develop scalable secure and high-performance solutions.

Technical Leadership

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and architecture.

• Collaborate with Project Managers during scoping and planning phases.

• Review and validate code from outsourced developers and agencies.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Continuous Improvement

• Research and suggest new technologies frameworks protocols and solutions.

• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends (especially AI).

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with internal teams across development SEO and content.

• Participate in daily standups and team meetings.

• Support and maintain existing applications and systems.

• Contribute to improving development workflows and standards.
  

Requirements:

• 6 years of experience building websites and web applications.

• Solid experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.

• Expert-level proficiency in HTML5 CSS and JavaScript.

• Deep expertise in React for building modern scalable front-end applications.

• Experience with additional JavaScript frameworks such as Angular Vue or Gatsby is a plus.

• Experience working with relational databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL MariaDB).

• Proven experience developing with headless CMS platforms (preferably Contentful or Sanity).

• Familiarity with Craft CMS and/or WordPress particularly for custom development and integrations is a plus.

• Proven track record of building and maintaining complex custom web applications.

• Experience working in agencies or client-service environments.

• Strong debugging troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Experience conducting code reviews and improving code quality across teams.

• Self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision.

• Comfortable owning projects end-to-end.

• Curious and proactive about learning new technologies.

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Strong eye for UI/UX and frontend polish.

• Highly adaptable with a proven track record of navigating shifting priorities while maintaining performance and focus.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
