Position Overview

The Collection Manager for Philippines will lead and manage local account receivables functions to optimize cash recovery minimize delinquencies and maintain strong customer relationships. This role is responsible for developing and executing collection strategies supervising a local collections team coordinating with credit legal and customer service teams and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations. The successful candidate will be results-driven customer-focused and experienced in collections operations reporting and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily collections activities for local accounts including identifying delinquent accounts prioritizing collection efforts and managing escalations.

• Supervise coach and develop the local collections team to meet KPIs and performance targets.

• Develop and implement effective collection strategies and workflows to maximize recovery while preserving customer relationships.

• Coordinate with credit sales customer service and legal teams to resolve disputes establish payment plans and escalate recovery actions when necessary.

• Monitor aging reports collection metrics and cash application to ensure accurate reporting and timely cash collection.

• Ensure compliance with local regulations internal policies and data protection requirements in all collection activities.

• Prepare regular management reports KPI dashboards and analysis to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

• Drive process improvements and automation opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO).

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in accounts receivable collections or credit management with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team-lead role.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a related field preferred.

• Proven experience managing collections for local accounts with strong negotiation and dispute-resolution skills.

• Solid understanding of local regulatory and legal requirements related to debt collection and consumer protection.

• Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of BSP (Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas) and NPC (National Privacy Commission) guidelines regarding fair debt collection practices.

• Analytical mindset detail-oriented and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• English working proficiency is required.

• Local candidates or individuals with legal work status in the country preferred.
