Art Department:
The Art department is a dynamic and creative space where students are encouraged to experiment and develop their artistic skills. The department offers a wide range of disciplines including fine art sculpture and digital media.

The team is supportive and collaborative and the technician plays a vital role in ensuring lessons run smoothly and resources are readily available.

The Role:
As an Art Technician you will support the Art department by preparing materials maintaining equipment and assisting with practical lessons. You will work closely with teachers to ensure students have access to high-quality resources and a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and organise materials and equipment for lessons
Maintain and manage art supplies and stock levels
Support students during practical sessions where required
Ensure health and safety procedures are followed
Assist with displays and exhibitions of student work
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of art studios

Requirements:
Experience in an art-related or school environment (desirable)
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of art materials and techniques
Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff
Commitment to supporting student creativity and learning
