The Role:
The IT Technician will provide technical support across the school ensuring that all systems and equipment are functioning effectively. You will work closely with staff and students to troubleshoot issues and support the use of technology in lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-line technical support for staff and students
Maintain and manage IT systems hardware and software
Support the setup and maintenance of classroom technology
Assist with network management and system updates
Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently
Ensure data security and compliance with school policies
Requirements:
Experience in an IT support role (education experience desirable)
Strong problem-solving and technical skills
Knowledge of networks hardware and software systems
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively
