The Role:
The Behaviour Mentor will work closely with students who require additional behavioural and emotional support. You will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour supporting wellbeing and helping students overcome barriers to learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group support for students
Implement behaviour strategies and interventions
Monitor and track student behaviour and progress
Work closely with pastoral staff SEN teams and external agencies
Support students in developing social and emotional skills
Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment
Requirements:
Experience working with young people in a school or similar setting
Strong behaviour management and interpersonal skills
Ability to build positive relationships with students
Understanding of safeguarding and pastoral support
Resilient patient and proactive approach
