Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The Bedford-Stuyvesant Family Health Center (BSFHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that serves all of the primary health care needs of families in the heart of North and Central Brooklyn. Our mission is to provide the most professional courteous and highest quality health care with dignity to those we serve especially the undeserved population without regard for ability to addition to operating the Health Centers we operate in School-Based Health Centers to increase the accessibility and availability of quality primary and preventive physical and mental health care to pre-school elementary middle and secondary school students in high-risk areas of Bedford-Stuyvesant Brooklyn.

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK - Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm Rotations to all locations late nights to 7pm and Saturday Shifts usually 1-2 times a month.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. The LPN will provide clinical nursing function based on the needs of different department within the Center assist practitioners and nurses with patient care education and other nursing procedures as assigned in the clinical areas.

Flexible with scheduling and location rotation as needed.

Education Licenses and/or Certifications Experience Requirements:

• Degree/Certificate from an approved School of Practical Nursing.
• Associates Degree in Nursing preferred
• Valid LPN License in New York State
• One year of experience as LPN in a clinic based - Willing to train
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Must be flexible with scheduling and Open to location placement as needed.
