Job Function:

Serve as the onsite leader for a commercial landscape maintenance crew servicing location across SE Michigan.

Minimum Qualifications:

5 years experience in commercial landscape industry

3 years of professional landscape maintenance experience

1-2 years supervisory experience and leadership skills

Have a chauffeurs license or the ability to get one

Pass pre-employment drug screen

Pass drivers background check

Duties and Responsibilities:

Managing the crew: Assigning tasks providing training and mentoring crew members.

Ensuring quality: Overseeing the work to ensure it meets standards and meets customer expectations.

Managing resources: Making sure the crew has the tools and materials they need and keeping track of materials and time

Maintaining the job site: Keeping the job site clean and the equipment trailer organized.

Operating equipment: Using standard landscaping maintenance equipment and operate company trucks/trailers safely.

Communicating: Keeping management updated on jobs conditions and providing feedback on employee performance.

Completing documentation: Complete any necessary documentation.

CDL

Industry Certifications

Pesticide License

Physical Requirements:

The ability to work outdoors in a variety of conditions.

Must be able to work for uninterrupted extended periods of time.

The ability to lift at least 50 lbs. bend and squat for extended period
