What this role is all about:
The Deputy Global Market Executive (Deputy GME) supports the Global Market Executive in driving sustainable growth strengthening integration with AIA & Amplify Health (AH) and ensuring operational excellence across all partnership markets. The Deputy GME acts as second-in-command providing continuity of leadership and oversight across strategic commercial financial and operational initiatives in multiple Asian markets. Key Actions
- Partnership & Executive Engagement:
- Support the GME in managing senior-level relationships with AIA Group AIA market CEOs and AH leadership
- Lead structured engagement across markets ensuring strategic alignment &timelyresolution of operational issues
- Represent Vitality Group at executive forums & workshops whendeputizingfor the GME
- Operational & Commercial Performance Management:
- Co-own partnership business model & profitability assessments
- Monitor P&L performance prepare financial reporting and recommend interventions
- Ensure commercial agreements & licensing arrangementsremaincurrent & robust
- Product Technology & Market Delivery:
- Support rollout & enhancement of Vitality product designs
- Ensure alignment of product principles actuarialmodelling& marketingneeds
- Work with AH tech teams to ensure adoption& enhancementof the Vitality platform
- Market Growth & Shared Value Insurance Expansion:
- Support expansion of Shared Value Insurance penetration across AIA markets
- Collaborate with market teams toidentifyopportunities for product & customer engagement improvements
- Leadership Team Development & Talent Pipeline:
- Provide leadership to cross-functional teams
- Support succession planning & capability development
- Foster a culture of accountabilityagility& collaboration
- Distribution Support & Engagement Initiatives:
- Support development of agent training programs including Vitality Academy
- Enhance customer & agent engagement through improved tools & propositions
- Project Leadership & Delivery Oversight:
- Lead key workstreams & projects ensuring alignment and execution
- DeputizeforGME in senior stakeholder engagements & strategy sessions
What do you need to thrive
- Significant business and/or technical experience with a proventrack recordfor sustainable impact through high performance in different contexts
- Experience of collaborating successfully with cross-functional experts across global environments in the successful delivery of capabilitiesand working with multi-stakeholder global environments
- Problem-solver and drives results; able to drive implementation through iterations quickly able toidentifyproblem areas prioritize solutions and develop an effective medium-term vision
- Values-driven and optimistic and able to work withdifferent cultures; able to adapt to local requirements and market practice be flexible in balancing long-term goals and short-term wins and be resilient in a consistently changing environment
- Fast learner and able to quicklyidentifyopportunities to build relationships to drive joint decisions and project delivery.

- Knowledge and experience ofworking inChina and Southeast Asia particularly withinhealthcare and health insurance markets (preferred)
- Fluent in Mandarin (preferred)
