Your day to day as a Plymouth- Machine Operator -3rd Shift

As a new Machine Operator on the 3rd Shift at Placon Corporation youll step into an exhilarating role that revolves around precision and efficiency. Your daily routine will be dynamic involving the operation and monitoring of machinery to ensure optimal performance. Expect to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production and engage in teamwork to meet production targets effectively. You will perform quality checks to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of excellence. Safety is paramount so adhering to all safety protocols will be a key part of your responsibilities.

Requirements for this Plymouth- Machine Operator -3rd Shift job

To thrive as a Machine Operator on the 3rd Shift at Placon Corporation a blend of technical skills and personal attributes is essential. A solid understanding of thermoforming equipment setup and troubleshooting will be crucial enabling you to optimize machine performance efficiently. Mechanical aptitude is a must paired with basic math proficiency to perform calculations accurately.

Your role will also require forklift operation so certification is essential. You should be comfortable reading writing and speaking English to communicate effectively within the team. Familiarity with computer systems including MS Office and manufacturing/MRP software will aid in streamlining processes.

Knowledge of quality control principles Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) will ensure adherence to excellence. Additionally PPE compliance and the ability to perform routine maintenance with hand tools are vital. You must also have the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills will empower you to address challenges proactively while collaborating with your team.
