Job Summary
Location: Little Havana Miami
Salary: $58000 $65000 annually
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist AP/AR to support the Finance Department of a growing hospitality group operating multiple restaurant locations. This role is critical in maintaining accurate financial records ensuring proper reconciliations and supporting operational decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Operations
- Record and reconcile daily sales from POS systems (Toast Aloha etc.)
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable including invoice verification and matching to POs and receipts
- Perform bank credit card and petty cash reconciliations
- Support payroll entries and accruals
- Review code and post expense invoices accurately to the general ledger
- Assist with weekly and monthly financial reporting (P&L sales variance reports)
Requirements
Qualifications
- 23 years of accounting experience
- Bilingual (English-Spanish)
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks Xero or similar)
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory platforms
- Strong Excel skills and understanding of GAAP
- Experience with payroll systems (Paycom ADP) is a plus
