Recycling Laborer

Directly involved with the high-volume sorting of comingled recyclable materials including paper plastic and glass delivered by a variety of customers. Daily tasks will include but not limited to sorting materials at various pick stations in a highly mechanized and automated process. May be asked to supervise a line during vacations operate forklift facility clean-up or help at the bailer

Tasks

Duties require standing in place and at the same location for extended periods of time. Frequent exposure to hazards associated with large scale recycling equipment (moving parts moving equipment electrical devices odors dust etc.). A protective cap high visibility vest safety glasses gloves and hearing protection (if requested) are required to work in the production environment and will be provided.

Requirements

WORK HOURS: 7:00am - 3:30pm

LIFTING: 25 Pounds

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED

DRESS CODE/PPE NEEDED: non-steel toed boots with 6 ankle jeans weather related
