Accounting Team Lead

At Factorial were looking for a Accounting Team Lead to join our Finance Team at our Barcelona HQ and help take the company to the next level! Finance at Factorial is all about precision innovation and continuous improvement - and thats where you come in.

The Role

As our Accounting Team Lead youll oversee the full accounting process and guide a small team of accounting professionals. Youll not only ensure accuracy and efficiency across all financial operations but also help shape and improve Finance processes coaching and supporting your team along the way.

Your main tasks will include:

• Leading and mentoring the accounting team
• Managing accounts payable
• Maintaining the General Ledger and reconciling balance sheets
• Bank accounting and reconciliations
• General bookkeeping: suppliers payroll journal entries accruals
• Data analysis and reporting
• Supporting Spanish tax processes (International tax knowledge is a plus)
• Leveraging ERP knowledge (NetSuite Navision SAP) to streamline workflows

Your Profile

• 3 years of experience in Finance or Accounting including team leadership
• English proficiency is required; Spanish is a plus
• ACCA or CPA studies are valued
• Strong attention to detail and highly organised
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Ability to proactively identify opportunities for process improvement
• Excellent team player with strong communication and leadership skillsSuccess-driven: You are data-oriented meticulous and committed to achieving excellence
• Strategic view: Able to balance day-to-day tasks with bigger-picture thinking
• Improvement & innovation: Excited to contribute to continuous evolution in Finance processes
