The Role Youll be the first human touchpoint for prospects at Valeria. Marketing brings them into the funnelyoure the one who opens the real conversation. Youll own the top of the funnel: researching accounts running outbound sequences qualifying leads and booking the meetings that turn interest into revenue.
This isnt a passive role. Youll work directly with the AE and founders to figure out what messaging works which verticals convert and how to build a pipeline that scales. If you perform the path to AE is real and fast.
What Youll Do Be the first point of contact for inbound leads and outbound prospectsprimarily in hospitality logistics events and agriculture
Run personalized outbound sequences across cold calls LinkedIn and emailnot templated spray-and-pray
Qualify leads based on ICP criteria and book meetings for the AE
Work closely with marketing and the AE to align on messaging targeting and what resonates with buyers
Test and iterate on outreach strategiesshare what works kill what doesnt
Keep CRM data clean and accurate so pipeline is always trustworthy
Feed market insights back to the team: objections competitor mentions buying signals
Who You Are Required:
12 years of experience in sales BDR or a customer-facing rolewe care more about drive than years
Excellent communication skills in Spanishyou can open doors handle objections and build rapport fast
Hunter mindset: curious resilient and motivated by hitting targets
Comfortable with rejectionyou treat every no as data not a defeat
High ownership and bias to action: you dont wait to be told what to do
Highly Valued:
Catalan fluency (many of our target customers are Catalonia-based)
English proficiency (useful for internal communication and future expansion)
Experience selling or working in HR payroll or operations-heavy environments
Familiarity with tools like HubSpot Salesforce Apollo or similar
Background in high-turnover industries (hospitality logistics staffing)you understand the pain we solve
