Job Summary

JF Hanley Fencing is looking for reliable General Operatives to join our fencing team.

If you have a positive attitude and a valid Safe Pass/Manual Handling / get in touch!

Tasks

Fencing installation

Removal: Taking down old damaged or redundant fencing (timber chain link or metal).

Digging: Excavating post holes using manual tools (shovels post-hole diggers/grafter) or mechanical tools

Setting Posts: Positioning timber concrete or steel posts and ensuring they are plumb (perfectly vertical) and level using a spirit level

Concreting: Mixing Postcrete or standard ballast/cement and pouring foundations to secure the posts.

Requirements

Valid Safe Pass Card: Essential for working on any construction site in Ireland.

Manual Handling Certificate: Legally required for roles involving heavy lifting to ensure the operative knows how to lift safely.

Right to Work: Valid documentation to work in Ireland.
