About this opportunity:
The Shared Services Advisor ensures the reliable daytoday operation of IT infrastructure across Western Canada field sites. Based in Lloydminster this role serves as the primary onsite IT resource supporting enduser computing and field infrastructure while acting as a key liaison between field operations and centralized IT teams. The successful candidate will travel to surrounding field sites as required to support seamless IT delivery.
The Shared Services Advisor provides handson incident and escalation support SMART HANDS assistance for remote IT and approved nonIT teams and manages the installation relocation and tracking of IT assets and inventory. The role focuses on maintaining operational stability minimizing service disruptions and proactively identifying and communicating risks and enduser impacts.
While primarily operational the Advisor contributes field expertise to approved projects as needed. Success in this role requires a versatile technical generalist who can work independently in remote environments communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders build strong working relationships and travel extensively to support businesscritical field operations.

This position is located in Lloydminster and requires the successful candidate to live in the area.
What youll do:
Accountable for the stability availability and safe operation of IT infrastructure that enables frontline business activities
Deliver consistent onsite IT support for frontline operations across multiple remote and rural locations
Partner with Deskside Infrastructure Workplace Security application teams and site stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
Execute and oversee IT assets inventory and infrastructure changes aligned with enterprise standards
Resolve incidents and escalations to protect productivity operational continuity and safety
Make independent operational decisions proactively communicate risks and apply sound technical judgment in dynamic field environments
Who you are:
Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:
Legally authorized to work in Canada
Postsecondary diploma or degree in IT Computer Systems Engineering Technology or equivalent handson experience
2 years of experience supporting IT infrastructure and enduser computing in operational industrial or fieldbased environments ideally across remote or distributed locations
Demonstrated experience with networking telecom servers storage incident response escalation troubleshooting and asset lifecycle management
Proven ability to work independently solve complex problems without predefined procedures and collaborate effectively with centralized IT teams and business stakeholders
Willingness to travel to remote and rural field sites and work safely in regulated safetysensitive environments

For this position you will be required to maintain a Class 5 drivers license a satisfactory driving record and adhere to the appropriate Company policies and guidelines. A drivers abstract will be one of the background checks requested in the pre-employment screening for the final candidate.
