Job Summary
Registrars Office:
The UCF Registrars Office maintains accurate and secure student records. We issue academic transcripts and prepare and publish the UCF Undergraduate Catalog. We help coordinate the Commencement ceremonies and issue diplomas for graduates. We process readmission and residency reclassification requests. We maintain the UCF Academic Calendar Final Exam Schedule and the Schedule of Classes offered each term.
In addition to serving students the Registrars Office provides a number of services and resources to administrators and faculty. We provide student record data to inform decisions. We provide an efficient and secure grade collection process. We provide a number of reports and evaluations related to NCAA Division I athletic eligibility. We also provide student records training for faculty and staff.
The Opportunity:
This Registration Coordinator I position has primary responsibility for coordinating the transfer course evaluation process. Using a PeopleSoft based workflow this position will route syllabi submitted by students to the appropriate department and/or college faculty members for course evaluation. This position will assist faculty users in form completion as well as ensuring that routing is working correctly and rerouting when warranted. Responsible for managing daily tasks associated with the course evaluation process including receipt workflow and posting of incoming transcripts/test scores. This position will be the point of contact for UCF student faculty and staff questions regarding the transfer course evaluation process.
Responsibilities:
Course Evaluation Processing & Quality Assurance:
Review course evaluation tasks to ensure records are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
Identify evaluations that are not under review and communicate with faculty to establish review timelines.
Review assignment of course evaluation tasks to ensure courses are evaluated by the appropriate department.
Research course subject matter for accuracy during both initial and final reviews and correct identified errors.
Refer data discrepancies to appropriate staff for correction when necessary.
Communication & User Support:
Communicate with new users to provide guidance on the course evaluation process.
Collaborate with faculty and staff to resolve evaluation issues and clarify responsibilities.
Process Analysis & Improvement:
Analyze current procedures and recommend process improvements to reduce errors and increase efficiency.
Cross-Functional & Operational Support:
Serve on seasonal cross-functional teams with the Registrars Office providing support for grading orientation commencement and start-of-term triage.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree and 0 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
Student-serving/student-facing interaction and support experience.
Experience using Excel spreadsheets or other data management tools.

Strong oral and written interpersonal and communication skills.
Special Instructions to the Applicants:
New hires selected for this position at the University of Central Florida can expect to be offered the base hourly rate of of $19.15 equivalent to a salary of $40000 for the role. Compensation is determined in alignment with UCFs pay structure and internal equity considerations.
