About the Role
AsDeputyNursery Manageryoullsupport the Nursery Manager in leading the nursery and ensuring exceptional standards of careeducationand operational excellence.
You will:
- Support theday-to-dayleadership and smooth running of the nursery
- Inspire and guide educators to deliver outstanding early years practice
- Maintainhigh standardsof safeguardinghealth and safetyand compliance
- Build strong partnerships with families and the local community
- Support team development through coachingmentoringand feedback
- Help prepare for Ofsted inspections andmaintainregulatory standards
- Contribute to continuousimprovementacross educational quality teamengagementand nurseryperformance
This role offers the opportunity to develop your leadership skills while making a meaningful difference in childrens learning journeys.
Whatwerelooking for
Yourea confident and passionate early yearsprofessionalwhoenjoys helping teams succeed andchildren flourish.
You will have:
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
- Strong knowledge of EYFS Birth to 5 Matters and child development
- Experienceof working in anearlyyearssetting ideally in a senior practitioner orroom leader role
- A track recordof deliveringhigh standardsof care and education
- Experience of strong practice as a Key Personand in implementing safeguardinghealthand safety first aid and critical care policies.
- Strongorganisational communication and leadership skills
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade4/C or above); or equivalent
