Title: SAP FICO Solution Consultant
Duration: 7 Months
Location: Waukegan IL

This position is NonExempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half.
Job Description
- Client is seeking an experienced professional to manage medium and large SAP projects with a strong focus on financial systems and business transformation.
- The role requires a seasoned SAP FICO Consultant with 10 years of experience in end-to-end SAP implementation rollout and optimization projects.
- Prior experience working in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is highly desirable.
- The candidate will be responsible for driving solution design ensuring process standardization and partnering closely with business stakeholders IT teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as SAP FICO Solution Consultant / Lead to deliver end-to-end medium to large projects including blueprinting configuration testing deployment and post-go-live support
- Act as a subject matter expert for SAP Finance and Controlling processes ensuring alignment with business regulatory and compliance requirements
- Ensure integration consistency between SAP FICO and other SAP modules (e.g. MM SD PP PS) as well as external and boundary systems

- Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
- Margin and profitability analysis SAP Finance (FI)
- General Ledger Accounting
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

- Project Systems (PS)
Additional Skills & Experience
- Experience working in global multi-country SAP environments with complex financial structures
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional global teams
- Strong documentation presentation and stakeholder management skills
