Software Engineer 3

MW Partners is currently seeking a Software Engineer 3 to work for our client who is a global leader in multimedia and creativity software products.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Thorough understanding of test methodology test life cycle bug life cycle
• Production/test Experience in Gaming/Animation industry is an added advantage
• Experience with any Animation software including Flash/Animate authoring tool. ACE certification advantage
• Experience with any scripting language such as HTML JavaScript perl python shell etc
• Should have ability to Write and maintain test specs and scripts Ability to interpret project specifications
• Works closely with development
• Good time management skills
• Superior communication skills
• Ability to use testing tools for product area
• Advanced knowledge of one core operation system
• Ability to take on new tasks
• Good problem solving and diagnostic skills Exp 2-5yrs

Requirements:

• BE Or Diploma in Animation
• Education in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Bachelors or Masters degree is a plus
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance and automation
• Passion for web technologies sharp eye for detail and critical thinking abilities Ability to easily learn new technologies
• Good knowledge of software testing fundamentals. Good understanding of common testing methodologies and ability to apply them.
• Ability to understand and interpret product specifications
• Good problem solving and diagnostic skills experience with troubleshooting.
• Relevant experience in working with web technologies Knowledge of scripting and programming languages
• Familiar with automated testing tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in English both verbal and written Experience in developing test automation frameworks and systems
• Relevant experience in working with and developing applications based on Java ActionScript JavaScript Python
• Working in a Scrum team or in an Agile environment
• Working with remote teams
• Jenkins (Required)
• Troubleshooting/Linux (Required)
• Scripting (Required)
• Circle/CI (a plus)
