Position: Java Functional Architect w/ Healthcare domain (Onsite)

Location: Dublin OH (Relocation yes)

Duration : 6 months

Job Description:

A Java Functional Architect in the healthcare domain designs and leads the implementation of Java-based systems focused on business functionality ensuring alignment with healthcare standards like FHIR HL7 HIPAA and EMR platforms such as Epic or Cerner.

Key Responsibilities

Translate healthcare business needs (e.g. patient data billing claims interoperability) into scalable Java architectures using Spring Boot microservices and RESTful APIs.
Lead design of secure compliant systems with real-time data processing performance optimization and integration testing.
Collaborate with stakeholders conduct code reviews troubleshoot bottlenecks and ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA/GDPR).

Required Skills:

Expertise in Core Java Spring Boot microservices and healthcare protocols (FHIR/HL7); experience with AWS or cloud services is a plus.
Strong knowledge of software architecture patterns MVC design principles and tools like Angular for full-stack elements.
10 years in Java development with 5 in healthcare domain; excellent communication and leadership skills.
