Job Summary
Job Summary QA Lead Software QA
Location: Phoenix Arizona ( Local Only )
- Lead and define QA automation strategy architecture and standards for the AZASRS Technical Services Division.
- Drive adoption of modern UI/API automation frameworks and oversee transition from existing Java-based solutions.
- Integrate quality early in the SDLC by implementing PR-level tests API checks and CI/CD quality gates.
- Utilize AI-assisted tools for test generation self-healing locators and test-impact analysis to enhance testing efficiency.
- Collaborate with DevOps to optimize CI/CD pipelines test data management and environment provisioning processes.
- Work with architects to resolve complex issues (authentication data performance flaky tests) and reduce technical debt.
- Expand and strengthen UI API and integration test coverage to ensure environment stability.
- Mentor coach and review code of QA engineers; enforce automation and QA best practices.
- Develop quality dashboards and metrics (test coverage flakiness MTTR etc.) for continuous improvement.
- Lead root cause analysis for defects and drive implementation of preventive solutions.
- Ensure compliance with technical requirements and support adoption of preferred tools (Grafana Docker/Kubernetes cloud platforms AI/LLM testing tools Jira Confluence).
- Oversee QA activities in a hybrid work environment in Phoenix AZ with occasional onsite meetings and adherence to agency policies.
