Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format):
- Serve as primary contact for customers via telephone or in person to provide information about products services licenses registrations titles permits or program eligibility.
- Process customer orders cancellations account changes and resolve complaints or issues.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions inquiries complaints comments and actions taken.
- Resolve service or billing complaints through activities such as exchanging merchandise issuing refunds or adjusting bills.
- Complete contract forms prepare change of address records and issue service discontinuance orders using computer systems.
- Refer unresolved customer issues to appropriate departments for further investigation and resolution.
- Determine charges for requested services collect deposits or payments and arrange for billing.
- Contact customers to provide responses to inquiries inform them of investigation results or communicate planned adjustments.
- Perform journey-level customer service tasks including handling complex complaints and using discretion in releasing information.
- Conduct research compile information and analyze policies and procedures to resolve customer issues.
- Periodically reconcile cash receipts verify amounts and prepare deposits for transmission to the bank or state treasurers office.
- Must be available for in-person interviews and able to start within 2 weeks of offer.
