UIUX Designer
Job Summary
The UX/UI Designer will be a single hands-on individual contributor responsible for designing
intuitive accessible and visually consistent user experiences across enterprise digital platforms. This
role combines delivery-focused UX/UI design with ownership of organization-wide UX/UI
guidelines and standards.
The designer will work closely with Product Owners Business Analysts and Developers to translate
complex business requirements into high-quality user experiences while also defining and
maintaining design standards that can be consistently applied across applications.
Key Responsibilities
Independently design user-centered experiences for complex web and enterprise
applications.
Conduct user research usability testing and workflow analysis to inform design decisions.
Create wireframes user flows prototypes and high-fidelity UI designs.
Produce polished production-ready UI designs including layouts typography color systems
and visual hierarchy.
Define document and maintain UX/UI guidelines and standards that can be adopted
across the organization.
Create and maintain a central design system (components patterns and interaction rules)
as a single source of truth.
Ensure consistency in user experience and visual design across multiple applications.
Document UX/UI principles patterns dos & donts and accessibility guidelines in a
consumable format.
Simplify complex data-heavy workflows into clear and intuitive user journeys.
Apply UX best practices and WCAG accessibility standards across all designs.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners Business Analysts and Developers to ensure
designs are feasible and aligned with requirements.
Provide clear design specifications and support developers during implementation to ensure
accurate design handoff.
Review designs and UI changes for usability consistency and adherence to standards.
Present design concepts rationale and trade-offs to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
Act as the primary UX/UI point of reference for standards patterns and best practices
within the organization.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer working as an individual contributor.
Strong expertise in both UX and UI design including interaction and visual design.
Proficiency in design tools (Figma Sketch Adobe XD).
Strong understanding of user-centered design usability principles and interaction patterns.
Experience creating and maintaining design systems and UX/UI guidelines.
Solid knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
Experience designing for complex enterprise or data-intensive applications.
Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating with cross-functional agile teams.
Ability to clearly document design decisions and standards.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience defining UX/UI standards for multiple applications.
Familiarity with financial services post-trade systems or regulated environments.
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS to support effective design handoff.
Experience creating user journeys and facilitating UX workshops.
Familiarity with Angular-based applications or component libraries.

position. The individual will be hands-on in delivery while also acting as the single owner and
