Job Title:

Global Supply Chain Intern

Job Description:

Primary Purpose of Role:

The Global Supply Chain Intern supports logistics demand planning and inventory management by analyzing data managing supplier communications and improving operational efficiency. Key tasks include creating reports conducting cost analysis and optimizing supply chain workflows to ensure on-time delivery. This role bridges academic knowledge with practical experience in demand planning logistics and manufacturing operations in accordance with product and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data analysis and reporting: validate clean and manipulate supply chain data creating logistics dashboards tracking KPIs and developing reports.
  • Supplier Management: Assist with supplier performance tracking and maintaining supplier databases.
  • Operations support: Coordinate with manufacturing logistics and procurement teams on inventory strategy and demand planning.
  • Process Optimization: Research emerging technologies to improve supply chain workflows reduce costs/inventory and improve efficiency.
  • Work is of a technical nature where decisions are made within general practices and procedures where supervision is available.
  • Assist in the design development and/or improvement of manufacturing processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education Requirement: College undergraduate or graduate status with 1-3 years at an accredited college or university pursuing an academic field of study related to Supply Chain Data Analysis Management Engineering Engineering Technology or other technological fields of study.

Experience:

  • Required Experience:
    • Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
    • Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
    • Analytical ability to solve complex problems.
