M&J isseekinga motivated and detail-orientedHR Internto join our team and support the Human Resources department with daily operations and administrative functions. This role provides valuable hands-on experience in various HR areas including recruitment coordination onboarding employee records management and general HR support.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the HR department withmaintainingand organizing employee files and documentation (both digital and physical) ensuring records areaccurate complete and easily accessible.
  • Support data entry and updates in HR systems.
  • Assistwith scheduling interviews coordinating availability and sending calendar invites and follow-up communications to candidates.
  • Support new hire onboardinglogisticsby preparing materials printing documents setting up meeting spaces and tracking completion of required paperwork.
  • Help track completion of employeetrainingsand follow up as needed.
  • Assistwith responding to basic employee inquiries related to HR processes anddirectmore complex questions to HR supervisors whenappropriate.
  • Support HR audits by organizing files reviewing documentation for accuracy andidentifyingany missing or incomplete records.
  • Help prepare materials and presentations for HR meetingstrainings and internal communications.
  • Assistwith planning coordination andsetupfor employee engagement initiatives company events and recognition programs.
  • Maintain organization of shared HR folders templates and documents.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department including scanning filing copying and document preparation.
  • Assistwith special projects such as process improvements data collection or research assignments as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the HR team and overall department operations.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed aBachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook); familiarity with HR systems (e.g. Applicant Tracking Systems or HRIS) is a plus
  • Ability to multitask prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Eagerness to learn and gain hands-on experience in Human Resources
