Job Opportunity: Graduate ESG Consultant (Data Analyst Associate Pathway)

Salary of up to 32000 (depending on experience) plus employee benefits including private medical insurance pension life assurance (3x annual salary)
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for agraduate looking to start a career in sustainability and ESG consulting.
Youll join as aData Analyst supporting the delivery of ESG and sustainability projects with a clear progression pathway into anAssociate ESG Consultant role. Working alongside experienced consultants youll gain hands-on experience across carbon accounting ESG strategy and climate-related reporting.
The role combinesdata analysis client interaction and sustainability expertise giving you exposure to real-world projects from day one and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful environmental impact.
Job Responsibilities
- Support ESG and sustainability project delivery including:
- ESG maturity assessments
- Net-zero strategies and emissions reduction planning
- Climate risk assessments
- ESG due diligence
- Impact reporting and disclosures
- Assist in calculating carbon footprints acrossScope 1 2 and 3 emissions
- Analyse sustainability data and translate findings into clear actionable insights
- Support the preparation ofreports presentations and client deliverables
- Engage with clients through data analysis stakeholder interviews and implementation support
- Conduct research on ESG frameworks regulations and market trends (e.g. TCFD CSRD EU Taxonomy)
- Contribute to internal research knowledge sharing and thought leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support holistic sustainability solutions
Requirements
- Bachelors degree (2:1 or above) in a relevant field such as Sustainability Environmental Science Engineering Geography Data Analytics Economics or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with data
- Strong Excel skills (e.g. data structuring pivot tables lookups)
- Ability to interpret data and present clear logical insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
